About Us
Downtown Sanger Farmers Market was created to serve a need for the community. In a town with no access to fresh produce or goods, it is our goal to bring local producers to Sanger.
We want to be there to support all the different types of producers that Sanger and surrounding areas has to offer: farmers and ranchers, bakers, candy makers, canners and producers who are passionate about their craft. We want to be there for you and support you so that you may have a successful outlet to sell you goods.
Not only do we want to be there for the producers, we want to be there for the community. Having a place in town to shop locally-made or locally-grown items is a privilege that not many have.
This market was inspired by many hardworking and passionate individuals who spend countless hours in tractors, stay up into the night and in freezing temperatures to feed and care for their animals. Who fight the rise in costs of fertilizer for their plants, feed for their cattle and fuel for the vehicles that make their operations successful. This market was inspired by the people who will stand in the cold and in the rain to support their families and keep the food on the table no matter what the circumstances.
If you are a farmer, rancher, cottage food producer or an artist who makes handmade crafts, we would love to have you sell at our market. At DSFM, we promise to work just as hard for the small businesses and families that work hard for their customers. If you're looking to become a vendor please read through the handbook and fill out the application. We would love to have you.
